The engagement problem

When players go through the motions, repetitions stop mattering.

Coaches need technical activities that create meaningful touches without long lines, constant reminders or another drill players merely tolerate.

SPOTKICK changes the reason players repeat a skill.

  • The score gives every repetition an immediate purpose.
  • Receivers move, read the ball and select the right surface under pressure.
  • Flexible rules let coaches scale difficulty for age and ability.
  • Small-group formats increase involvement and reduce standing around.
01

Competition creates focus

Players pay attention because each pass, receive and redirect affects the score.

02

Variable service creates decisions

The ball arrives from different angles, asking players to adjust instead of repeating a scripted movement.

03

Simple rules keep sessions moving

Coach less between turns and let the game create its own feedback loop.

The SPOTKICK method

Game-based repetition that still looks like soccer.

Players still pass, scan, control, communicate and react. The difference is that the challenge feels like a game they want to win.

Training outcomes

One setup. Six coachable outcomes.

Use the scoring format as-is or turn it into a station inside your existing session.

Passing accuracy

Scoring rewards controlled delivery toward a clear target.

First touch

Players receive from changing heights and angles with a scoring action next.

Ball control

Flexible gameplay invites feet, thighs, chest and controlled redirects.

Decision-making

Players read the flight, move into position and choose how to control.

Communication

Team formats reward timing, clear information and coordinated movement.

Competitive confidence

Pressure comes from the game, helping players compete without over-coaching.

How it works

From the bag to competitive play in three steps.

1

Set it up

Unfold the goals, place the markers and choose a distance that fits your players.

2

Choose the challenge

Play Classic, Tailgate, Rondo or a coach-led progression designed for the session.

3

Compete and develop

Keep score while players accumulate purposeful touches, decisions and communication.

Practice builder

Put it into your session—not on top of it.

Coach questions

Everything to know before practice.

Is SPOTKICK a game or a soccer training aid?

It is both. The competitive game creates repeated opportunities to pass, receive, control the ball, communicate and make decisions without presenting the activity as another repetitive drill.

What skills can coaches target?

Depending on the game and rules, coaches can emphasize passing accuracy, first touch, aerial control, communication, quick combinations and decision-making.

Which set is best for a team coach?

The Classic Complete Set is a strong portable starting point. The Deluxe adds a second ball, while the full SPOTKICK Bundle gives coaches Classic, Tailgate and Rondo formats for more varied or multi-station sessions.

How many players can use one set?

Group size depends on the format and how a coach organizes turns. Classic is commonly used with small groups, while Tailgate can accommodate approximately 2–10 players. For larger squads, multiple stations reduce waiting time.

Can younger or beginner players participate?

Yes. Coaches can shorten the distance, allow extra touches or a bounce, and simplify scoring. Classic includes modified rules for younger players. Rondo is better suited to more confident technical players.

Can SPOTKICK be used indoors?

Tailgate and Rondo can work on suitable gym, turf and futsal surfaces. Always confirm the facility allows the equipment and choose rules appropriate for the available space.

Does the equipment require assembly?

The main SPOTKICK goal systems arrive ready to use. Unfold the equipment, place the markers and select the playing distance for your group.

Do clubs and schools receive special pricing?

SPOTKICK offers qualifying bulk-order discounts, accepts purchase orders and provides discounted school pricing. Submit the program form above for a recommendation and quote.

How should the wooden goals be stored?

Although the goals have a protective clear coat, they should not be left outdoors between sessions. Use a carry bag when available and store them in a dry location.

Build better players without another boring drill.

Give your team a competitive technical activity they will ask to play again.
